I would recommend beating the 1st section with at least 50% of your HP as the second section is quite long and has stronger enemies, although you can mostly avoid all of them and there's no forced fights.ĭemon Realm: It's possible to beat the demon realm without healing but I wouldn't recommend it unless you feel confident in your skills. At the end of her 1st section, you'll have to fight and beat one of the cloned enemies, just run around him and throw kunai when he appears. Some rooms have bow demons which you can kill by throwing a Kunai as you enter the room. Onto the solution.įor 80% of the game you will fight regular enemies as Samanosuke and they drop yellow souls that heal you, especially if you drop below 50% HP. I would recommend doing it during your 2nd playthrough. No upgrades is definitely feasible for newcomers/1st playthrough but no healing is the hardest challenge in the entire game in my opinion. A lot of guides recommend a 1st playthrough no upgrade, no herbs/medicine run and I strongly disagree with this.
